Technical Support Agent

Everyday EV  – Newark-on-Trent

EVeryday Driver Support (EVeryday EV) provides an outsourced Driver Support service for Installers, Charge Point Operators, Fleets and End Users. EVeryday EV are the only Driver Support service in the UK to provide an end to end support solution to ensure high uptime of charge point networks.

Everyday EV is part of the Asset Protection Group which comprises of a group of Fire & Security companies with shared ownership and one common goal, protecting your most important assets.

The Role

  • Reacting to Charge Point failure notifications via the EV back office platform.
  • Dispatching reactive works to Service Partners to
  • Answering inbound calls from EV Driver’s requiring charging and payment support
  • Carry out remote diagnostics and repairs (where possible) of EV Charge Points
  • Monitoring EV Charge Points to maintain uptime and react to any fail notifications from the Charge Points
  • Schedule Service Partners to attend reactive and preventative maintenances
  • Manage SLAs of attendance to ensure attendance within contractual requirements
  • Quote for remedial works where required
  • Schedule Service Partners for remedial works
  • Provide reporting to customers and the company’s Board of Directors
  • Actively participate in process development within the department
  • Invoice completed works

Person Specification

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent telephone skills/manner
  • Highly computer literate with strong organisational skills; experience of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel essential
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload
  • English Language – comprehension and articulation
  • Communication – both spoken and written
  • Meticulousness – a keen eye for detail
  • Organisation – ability to multitask, managing several projects at once
  • Initiative – ability to assess and initiate independently
  • Interest – in the business world and business matters
